It's finals season and I'm stuck inside with a cold, so naturally, it's time for another blog puzzle! This one is shaped like the periodic table, so I can finally make the bad joke that I update this blog periodically.

When I set out to make a puzzle with the periodic table as a grid, I had envisioned it being pretty big-- there are a lot of elements! It turns out, though, that it's more of a midi. The shape constraints also led to a lot of 2-letter entries, so I did my best to make the words fun and the crossings fair.

I've discovered I really like incorporating meta elements, so there's a short meta answer this time. The instructions are visible on the PDF and online version!

About

Hello! I'm Fabian. I'm a computer science and math student in Toronto. I construct puzzles based on science and technology that I find interesting, and sometimes other stuff as well. I like to think that my February 2023 New York Times debut led to a spike in physics-related google searches, but I have no evidence to back this up. I mostly publish in indie outlets, so if you enjoy my puzzles, please support them!

New puzzles will drop when I am not in class. This used to say "every few weeks", but looking at the post history of the last three years, the real pattern is "when I am not in class". In the unlikely event that you don't have this tab open at all times to check, you can sign up to get an email when a new puzzle drops. (No spam, I promise, just puzzles!)
